The new Madison Avenue Elementary School was awarded to the design/build team of Ernest Bock and Sons/SSP Architects/Johnson and Urban. The school will be delivered via the NJ SDA's design/build procurement process.

The winning design/build bid was $26,800,000.

The new school will encompass 73,000sf with many energy efficient systems and is expected to secure a LEED Silver certification.

Project construction started in summer of 2017 with completion slated for an on-time school opening of September 2020.
